Knit Specialism

For this section of the course, we were given the inspiration 'Exotic Fruit Salad' to work with for designing. We had to produce six designs from this source and two mood boards reflecting the designs and colours for interiors.

From these designs we then had to produce six A4 size finished samples of knit.

The following photographs are the results of this section of work.

Knit Specialism

For this period of study we were asked to use the starting point of 'Exotic Fruit Salad' for the design brief. We had to produce six pieces of design work based on this topic, two mood boards and six finished samples of knit derived from the visual studies.

The following photos are the results of this.

About Me

My photo
I started university later in life than most of my collegues, being a mature student. I have gained a huge amount from my BA, and I am now furthering my knowledge and experience with engagement on MA ADAPT course which I started in January 2010. Some of my BA work is on this blog, along with other textiles and a commission connected with Lace. I am also teaching lace with a class held weekly in Nottingham. Other weekend courses to follow and talks in areas of lace history.
